Quran chapter: Chapter 51: Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhareyat)‎

Do not set up besides God any other god. I am sent by Him to you as a manifest warner.

وَلا تَجعَلوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلٰهًا ءاخَرَ إِنّى لَكُم مِنهُ نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ

wa laa taj’aloo ma’al laahi ilaahan aakhara innee lakum minhu nazeerum mubeen

Consistently, when a messenger went to the previous generations, they said, “Magician,” or, “Crazy.”

كَذٰلِكَ ما أَتَى الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم مِن رَسولٍ إِلّا قالوا ساحِرٌ أَو مَجنونٌ

kazaalika maaa atal lazeena min qablihim mir Rasoolin illaa qaaloo saahirun aw majnoon

Did they make an agreement with each other? Indeed, they are transgressors.

أَتَواصَوا بِهِ بَل هُم قَومٌ طاغونَ

atawaasaw bih; bal hum qawmun taaghoon

You may disregard them; you cannot be blamed.

فَتَوَلَّ عَنهُم فَما أَنتَ بِمَلومٍ

fatawalla ‘anhum famaaa anta bimaloom

And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers.

وَذَكِّر فَإِنَّ الذِّكرىٰ تَنفَعُ المُؤمِنينَ

wa zakkir fa innaz zikraa tanfa’ul mu’mineen

(The Purpose of Our Existence)

I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.

وَما خَلَقتُ الجِنَّ وَالإِنسَ إِلّا لِيَعبُدونِ

wa maa khalaqtul jinna wal insa illaa liya’budoon

I need no provisions from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.

ما أُريدُ مِنهُم مِن رِزقٍ وَما أُريدُ أَن يُطعِمونِ

maaa ureedu minhum mir rizqinw wa maaa ureedu anyyut’imoon

God is the Provider, the Possessor of all power, the Supreme.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزّاقُ ذُو القُوَّةِ المَتينُ

innal laaha Huwar Razzaaqu Zul Quwwatil Mateen

The transgressors have incurred the same fate as their previous counterparts; they should not challenge.

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا ذَنوبًا مِثلَ ذَنوبِ أَصحٰبِهِم فَلا يَستَعجِلونِ

fa inna lillazeena zalamoo zanoobam misla zanoobi ashaabihim falaa yasta’jiloon

Woe to those who disbelieved from the day that is awaiting them.

فَوَيلٌ لِلَّذينَ كَفَروا مِن يَومِهِمُ الَّذى يوعَدونَ

fawailul lillazeena kafaroo miny yawmihimul lazee yoo’adoon
