(Jealousy Condemned)
Neither the disbelievers among the followers of the scripture, nor the idol worshipers, wish to see any blessings come down to you from your Lord. However, God showers His blessings upon whomever He chooses. God possesses infinite grace.
ما يَوَدُّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا مِن أَهلِ الكِتٰبِ وَلَا المُشرِكينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيكُم مِن خَيرٍ مِن رَبِّكُم وَاللَّهُ يَختَصُّ بِرَحمَتِهِ مَن يَشاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الفَضلِ العَظيمِ
maa yawaddul lazeena kafaroo min ahlil kitaabi wa lal mushrikeena ai-yunazzala ‘alaikum min khairim mir Rabbikum; wallaahu yakhtassu birahmatihee mai-yashaaa; wallaahu zul fadlil’azeem
