On them will be clothes of green velvet, satin, and silver ornaments. Their Lord will provide them with pure drinks.
عٰلِيَهُم ثِيابُ سُندُسٍ خُضرٌ وَإِستَبرَقٌ وَحُلّوا أَساوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقىٰهُم رَبُّهُم شَرابًا طَهورًا
‘aaliyahum siyaabu sundusin khudrunw wa istabraq, wa hullooo asaawira min fiddatinw wa saqaahum Rabbuhum sharaaban tahooraa
This is the reward that awaits you, for your efforts have been appreciated.
إِنَّ هٰذا كانَ لَكُم جَزاءً وَكانَ سَعيُكُم مَشكورًا
innaa haazaa kaana lakum jazz ‘anw wa kaana sa’yukum mashkooraa
We have revealed to you this Quran; a special revelation from us.
إِنّا نَحنُ نَزَّلنا عَلَيكَ القُرءانَ تَنزيلًا
innaa nahnu nazzalnaa ‘alaikal quraana tanzeelaa
You shall steadfastly carry out your Lord’s commandments, and do not obey any sinful disbeliever among them.
فَاصبِر لِحُكمِ رَبِّكَ وَلا تُطِع مِنهُم ءاثِمًا أَو كَفورًا
fasbir lihukmi Rabbika wa laa tuti’ minhum aasiman aw kafooraa
And commemorate the name of your Lord day and night.
وَاذكُرِ اسمَ رَبِّكَ بُكرَةً وَأَصيلًا
wazkuris ma Rabbika bukratanw wa aseelaa
During the night, fall prostrate before Him, and glorify Him many a long night.
وَمِنَ الَّيلِ فَاسجُد لَهُ وَسَبِّحهُ لَيلًا طَويلًا
wa minal laili fasjud lahoo wa sabbihhu lailan taweelaa
These people are preoccupied with this fleeting life, while disregarding – just ahead of them – a heavy day.
إِنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ يُحِبّونَ العاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرونَ وَراءَهُم يَومًا ثَقيلًا
inna haaa’ulaa’i yuhibboona ‘aajilata wa yazaroona waraaa’ahum yawman saqeelaa
We created them, and established them, and, whenever we will, we can substitute others in their place.
نَحنُ خَلَقنٰهُم وَشَدَدنا أَسرَهُم وَإِذا شِئنا بَدَّلنا أَمثٰلَهُم تَبديلًا
nahnu khalaqnaahum wa shadadnaaa asrahum wa izaa shi’naa baddalnaaa amsaala hum tabdeelaa
This is a reminder: whoever wills shall choose the path to his Lord.
إِنَّ هٰذِهِ تَذكِرَةٌ فَمَن شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبيلًا
inna haazihee tazkiratun fa man shaaa’at takhaza ilaa rabbihee sabeela
Whatever you will is in accordance with God’s will. God is Omniscient, Wise.
وَما تَشاءونَ إِلّا أَن يَشاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ عَليمًا حَكيمًا
wa maa tashaaa’oona illaa anyyashaaa’al laah; innal laahaa kaana’Aleeman Hakeema
