Consequently, God protects them from the evils of that day, and rewards them with joy and contentment.
فَوَقىٰهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذٰلِكَ اليَومِ وَلَقّىٰهُم نَضرَةً وَسُرورًا
fa waqaahumul laahu sharra zaalikal yawmi wa laqqaahum nadratanw wa surooraa
He rewards them for their steadfastness with Paradise, and silk.
وَجَزىٰهُم بِما صَبَروا جَنَّةً وَحَريرًا
wa jazaahum bimaa sabaroo janatanw wa hareeraa
They relax therein on luxurious furnishings. They suffer neither the heat of the sun, nor any cold.
مُتَّكِـٔينَ فيها عَلَى الأَرائِكِ لا يَرَونَ فيها شَمسًا وَلا زَمهَريرًا
muttaki’eena feeha ‘alal araaa ‘iki laa yarawna feehaa shamsanw wa laa zamhareeraa
The shade covers them therein, and the fruits are brought within reach.
وَدانِيَةً عَلَيهِم ظِلٰلُها وَذُلِّلَت قُطوفُها تَذليلًا
wa daaniyatan ‘alaihim zilaaluhaa wa zullilat qutoofu haa tazleela
They are served drinks in silver containers and cups that are translucent.
وَيُطافُ عَلَيهِم بِـٔانِيَةٍ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكوابٍ كانَت قَواريرا۠
wa yutaafu ‘alaihim bi aaniyatim min fiddatinw wa akwaabin kaanat qawaareeraa
Translucent cups, though made of silver; they rightly deserved all this.
قَواريرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّروها تَقديرًا
qawaareera min fiddatin qaddaroohaa taqdeeraa
They enjoy drinks of delicious flavors.
وَيُسقَونَ فيها كَأسًا كانَ مِزاجُها زَنجَبيلًا
wa yuskawna feehaa kaasan kaana mizaajuhaa zanjabeelaa
From a spring therein known as “Salsabeel.”
عَينًا فيها تُسَمّىٰ سَلسَبيلًا
‘aynan feeha tusammaa salsabeelaa
Serving them will be immortal servants. When you see them, they will look like scattered pearls.
وَيَطوفُ عَلَيهِم وِلدٰنٌ مُخَلَّدونَ إِذا رَأَيتَهُم حَسِبتَهُم لُؤلُؤًا مَنثورًا
wa yatoofu ‘alaihim wildaanum mukhalladoona izaa ra aytahum hasibtahum lu’lu ‘am mansoora
Wherever you look, you will see bliss, and a wonderful dominion.
وَإِذا رَأَيتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيتَ نَعيمًا وَمُلكًا كَبيرًا
wa izaa ra ayta samma ra ayta na’eemanw wa mulkan kabeera
