Castle Ardenstein marks the first game in the Soil of Canaan™ series—the Tradition Branch of the FORTIFIED DARKNESS™ franchise.
HÖGANÄS, SWEDEN—MAY 16, 2022—Castle Ardenstein is a horror adventure video game that takes place in the FORTIFIED DARKNESS™ universe. Players will explore a Castle in Ardenstein—a fictional village located somewhere in Bavaria, Germany.
The story follows a desperate student looking for a job to pay his student loan—who, after picking up a job from an ad—finds himself lost with only a vague map and a strange talisman in his possession, given to him by his recent employer.
The development of the game will be recorded and released in episodes as Devlogs for everyone to watch and to follow along the game’s development.
