a messenger* who recites to you God’s revelations, clearly, to lead those who believe and work righteousness out of the darkness into the light. Anyone who believes in God and leads a righteous life, He will admit him into gardens with flowing streams; they abide therein forever. God will generously reward him.
رَسولًا يَتلوا عَلَيكُم ءايٰتِ اللَّهِ مُبَيِّنٰتٍ لِيُخرِجَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ إِلَى النّورِ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعمَل صٰلِحًا يُدخِلهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا قَد أَحسَنَ اللَّهُ لَهُ رِزقًا
rasoolany yatloo ‘alaikum aayaatil laahi mubaiyinaatil liyukhrijal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati minaz zulumaati ilan noor; wa many yu’min billaahi wa ya’mal saalihany yudkhilhu jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa abadaa qad ahsanal laahu lahoo rizqaa
*65:10-11 The “Messenger” here is clearly the Quran. Verse 10 talks about “sending down a message,” and this points to the Quran as the messenger in 65:11 (Appendix 20).
