(Important Commandments to All Believers)
O you who believe, when the Congregational Prayer (Salat Al-Jumu`ah) is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of God, and drop all business. This is better for you, if you only knew.
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِذا نودِىَ لِلصَّلوٰةِ مِن يَومِ الجُمُعَةِ فَاسعَوا إِلىٰ ذِكرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا البَيعَ ذٰلِكُم خَيرٌ لَكُم إِن كُنتُم تَعلَمونَ
yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa noodiya lis-Salaati miny yawmil Jumu’ati fas’aw ilaa zikril laahi wa zarul bai’; zaalikum khayrul lakum in kuntum ta’lamoon
