Did they not roam the earth and see the consequences for those before them? God destroyed their works; all disbelievers will suffer the same fate.
أَفَلَم يَسيروا فِى الأَرضِ فَيَنظُروا كَيفَ كانَ عٰقِبَةُ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيهِم وَلِلكٰفِرينَ أَمثٰلُها
afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fayanzuroo kaifa kaana ‘aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; dammaral laahu ‘alaihim wa lilkaafireena amsaaluhaa
