before that, to guide the people, and He sent down the statute book. Those who disbelieve in God’s revelations incur severe retribution. God is Almighty, Avenger.
مِن قَبلُ هُدًى لِلنّاسِ وَأَنزَلَ الفُرقانَ إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ لَهُم عَذابٌ شَديدٌ وَاللَّهُ عَزيزٌ ذُو انتِقامٍ
min qablu hudal linnaasi wa anzalal Furqaan; innallazeena kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi lahum ‘azaabun shadeed; wallaahu ‘azeezun zun tiqaam
