(Satan Dupes the People)
When we said to the angels, “Fall prostrate before Adam,” they fell prostrate, except Satan. He said, “Shall I prostrate to one You created from mud?”
وَإِذ قُلنا لِلمَلٰئِكَةِ اسجُدوا لِـٔادَمَ فَسَجَدوا إِلّا إِبليسَ قالَ ءَأَسجُدُ لِمَن خَلَقتَ طينًا
wa iz qulnaa lil malaaa’ikatis judoo li Aadama fasajadooo illaaa Ibleesa qaala ‘a-asjudu liman khalaqta teena
