God has proclaimed: “Do not worship two gods; there is only one god. You shall reverence Me alone.”
وَقالَ اللَّهُ لا تَتَّخِذوا إِلٰهَينِ اثنَينِ إِنَّما هُوَ إِلٰهٌ وٰحِدٌ فَإِيّٰىَ فَارهَبونِ
wa qaalal laahu laa tatta khizooo ilaahainis naini innamaa Huwa Ilaahunw Waahid; fa iyyaaya farhaboon
