Quran chapter: Chapter 87: The Most High (Al-A`alaa)‎

Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.

سَبِّحِ اسمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعلَى

sabbihisma Rabbikal A’laa

He creates and shapes.

الَّذى خَلَقَ فَسَوّىٰ

allazee khalaqa fasawwaa

He designs and guides.

وَالَّذى قَدَّرَ فَهَدىٰ

wallazee qaddara fahadaa

He produces the pasture.

وَالَّذى أَخرَجَ المَرعىٰ

wallazeee akhrajal mar’aa

Then turns it into light hay.

فَجَعَلَهُ غُثاءً أَحوىٰ

faja’alahoo ghusaaa’an ahwaa

We will recite to you; do not forget.

سَنُقرِئُكَ فَلا تَنسىٰ

sanuqri’uka falaa tansaaa

Everything is in accordance with God’s will; He knows what is declared, and what is hidden.

إِلّا ما شاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ يَعلَمُ الجَهرَ وَما يَخفىٰ

illaa maa shaaa’al laah; innahoo ya’lamul jahra wa maa yakhfaa

We will direct you to the easiest path.

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِليُسرىٰ

wa nu-yassiruka lilyusraa

Therefore, you shall remind; perhaps the reminder will benefit.

فَذَكِّر إِن نَفَعَتِ الذِّكرىٰ

fazakkir in nafa’atizzikraa

The reverent will take heed.

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخشىٰ

sa yazzakkaru maiyakhshaa
