If blessed by wealth, stingy.
وَإِذا مَسَّهُ الخَيرُ مَنوعًا
wa izaa massahul khairu manoo’aa
If blessed by wealth, stingy.
وَإِذا مَسَّهُ الخَيرُ مَنوعًا
wa izaa massahul khairu manoo’aa
Who always observe their contact prayers (Salat).
الَّذينَ هُم عَلىٰ صَلاتِهِم دائِمونَ
allazeena hum ‘alaa Salaatihim daaa’imoon
Part of their money is set aside.
وَالَّذينَ فى أَموٰلِهِم حَقٌّ مَعلومٌ
wallazeena feee amwaalihim haqqun ma’loom
They believe in the Day of Judgment.
وَالَّذينَ يُصَدِّقونَ بِيَومِ الدّينِ
wallazeena yusaddiqoona bi yawmid Deen
They reverence their Lord’s requital.
وَالَّذينَ هُم مِن عَذابِ رَبِّهِم مُشفِقونَ
wallazeena hum min ‘azaabi Rabbihim mushfiqoon
Their Lord’s requital is not taken for granted.
إِنَّ عَذابَ رَبِّهِم غَيرُ مَأمونٍ
inna ‘azaaba Rabbihim ghairu ma’ moon
They keep their chastity.
وَالَّذينَ هُم لِفُروجِهِم حٰفِظونَ
wallazeena hum li furoojihim haafizoon
(They have relations) only with their spouses, or what is legally theirs –
إِلّا عَلىٰ أَزوٰجِهِم أَو ما مَلَكَت أَيمٰنُهُم فَإِنَّهُم غَيرُ مَلومينَ
illaa ‘alaaa azwaajihim aw maa malakat aymaanuhum fa innahum ghairu maloomeen
