Say, “My Lord has guided me in a straight path – the perfect religion of Abraham, monotheism. He never was an idol worshiper.”
قُل إِنَّنى هَدىٰنى رَبّى إِلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ دينًا قِيَمًا مِلَّةَ إِبرٰهيمَ حَنيفًا وَما كانَ مِنَ المُشرِكينَ
qul innanee hadaanee Rabbeee ilaa Siraatim Mustaqeemin deenan qiyamam Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen
Say, “My Contact Prayers (Salat), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to God alone, the Lord of the universe.
قُل إِنَّ صَلاتى وَنُسُكى وَمَحياىَ وَمَماتى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
qul inna Salaatee wa nusukee wa mahyaaya wa mamaatee lillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen
“He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to believe, and I am the first to submit.”
لا شَريكَ لَهُ وَبِذٰلِكَ أُمِرتُ وَأَنا۠ أَوَّلُ المُسلِمينَ
laa shareeka lahoo wa bizaalika umirtu wa ana awwalul muslimeen
Say, “Shall I seek other than God as a lord, when He is the Lord of all things? No soul benefits except from its own works, and none bears the burden of another. Ultimately, you return to your Lord, then He informs you regarding all your disputes.”
قُل أَغَيرَ اللَّهِ أَبغى رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَىءٍ وَلا تَكسِبُ كُلُّ نَفسٍ إِلّا عَلَيها وَلا تَزِرُ وازِرَةٌ وِزرَ أُخرىٰ ثُمَّ إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم مَرجِعُكُم فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِما كُنتُم فيهِ تَختَلِفونَ
qul aghairal laahi abghee Rabbanw wa Huwa Rabbu kulli shaiyy’; wa laa taksibu kullu nafsin illaa ‘alaihaa; wa laa taziru waaziratunw wizra ukhraa; summa ilaa Rabbikum marji’ukum fa yunabbi’ukum bimaa kuntum feehi takhtalifoon
He is the One who made you inheritors of the earth, and He raised some of you above others in rank, in order to test you in accordance with what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is efficient in enforcing retribution, and He is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
وَهُوَ الَّذى جَعَلَكُم خَلٰئِفَ الأَرضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعضَكُم فَوقَ بَعضٍ دَرَجٰتٍ لِيَبلُوَكُم فى ما ءاتىٰكُم إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَريعُ العِقابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
wa Huwal lazee ja’alakum khalaaa’ifal ardi wa rafa’a ba’dakum fawqa ba’din darajaatil liyabluwakum fee maaa aataakum; inna Rabbaka saree’ul ‘iqaabi wa innahoo la Ghafoorur Raheem
