Quran chapter: Chapter 59: Exodus (Al-Hashr)

(Greatness of the Quran)

If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for God. We cite these examples for the people, that they may reflect.

لَو أَنزَلنا هٰذَا القُرءانَ عَلىٰ جَبَلٍ لَرَأَيتَهُ خٰشِعًا مُتَصَدِّعًا مِن خَشيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلكَ الأَمثٰلُ نَضرِبُها لِلنّاسِ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَفَكَّرونَ

law anzalnaa haazal quraana ‘alaa jabilil lara aytahoo khaashi’am muta saddi’am min khashiyatil laah; wa tilkal amsaalu nadribuhaa linnaasi la’allahum yatafakkaroon

(God)

He is the One God; there is no other god besides Him. Knower of all secrets and declarations. He is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذى لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ عٰلِمُ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ هُوَ الرَّحمٰنُ الرَّحيمُ

huwal-laahul-lazee laaa Ilaaha illaa Huwa ‘Aalimul Ghaibi wash-shahaada; Huwar Rahmaanur-Raheem

He is the One God; there is no other god besides Him. The King, the Most Sacred, the Peace, the Most Faithful, the Supreme, the Almighty, the Most Powerful, the Most Dignified. God be glorified; far above having partners.

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذى لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ المَلِكُ القُدّوسُ السَّلٰمُ المُؤمِنُ المُهَيمِنُ العَزيزُ الجَبّارُ المُتَكَبِّرُ سُبحٰنَ اللَّهِ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ

huwal-laahul-lazee laaa Ilaaha illaa Huwal-Malikul Quddoosus-Salaamul Muminul Muhaiminul-‘aAzeezul Jabbaarul-Mutakabbir; Subhaanal laahi ‘Ammaa yushrikoon

He is the One God; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise.

هُوَ اللَّهُ الخٰلِقُ البارِئُ المُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الأَسماءُ الحُسنىٰ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ

huwal Laahul Khaaliqul Baari ‘ul Musawwir; lahul Asmaaa’ul Husnaa; yusabbihu lahoo maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
